About Me

Hi! I’m Ehsan. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been passionate about learning and teaching languages. There's something special about the way language helps us connect with others, and that’s what keeps me excited—whether it’s through my own learning or guiding students. I love exploring the subtleties of language and helping my students build their skills and confidence along the way.

Outside of languages, I have a real passion for photography. It’s my way of capturing and appreciating the beauty of the world around me. I’m also really drawn to history, especially the ways different cultures have influenced one another. My studies in history and Oriental studies have given me a deeper understanding of how the past continues to shape the world we live in today.

Education

2019-2022

University of Bologna

Alongside other areas of interest, I have a particular focus on Drama, the Renaissance, and themes of Otherness—particularly Jewish history and identity—as well as the influence of Italian culture on British drama. I pursued a Laurea Magistrale in History and Oriental Studies at the University of Bologna, graduating cum laude. My thesis, The Merchant’s Redemption: A Study of Liminality and Otherness in the Venetian Ghetto, explored these themes in depth.

2018

London Teacher Training College

After participating in several TTC courses and workshops on teaching English, I decided to earn my Diploma in TESOL from the London Teacher Training College, solidifying my commitment to becoming a professional in English language teaching.

2015-2017

University of Tehran

I earned my Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Tehran, where I developed a keen interest in Children’s Literature. My thesis, titled Don’t be Afraid of the Wild: A Psychoanalytic Study of Gothic in Children’s Literature in George Macdonald’s Princess and the Goblins and Princess and Curdy explored the intersection of psychoanalysis and Gothic themes in Macdonald's works for young readers.
